A family home built and designed to the passive house standard for a family looking for a low carbon footprint.  Built with locally harvested materials, and built in part  with the help of friends, this home used less than $560 in energy the first year it was built (2013 cost). The home features three bedrooms, a home office, screen porch and a two car garage.
