Panelized and Passive

As new generations joined this family, they outgrew the original summer home and added this building to the property. The floors are connected by a spiraling staircase built around a bookcase and each floor has its own porch. The house has a door hidden in a curved bookcase, some curved ceilings and a top floor office with a built-in reading nook. A playful element is a suspension bridge to a tree fort.
